Though we have not much publicity and struggling to get notice among a sea of other series, Dream Defenders still manage to hit 1.4M views in less than a year according to the latest report we received this morning. China Market for Dream Defenders

China is indeed a very interesting market for us. There is so much to learn there. We have already started building some good relationships for distributions there. And has slowly educate ourselves to understand how their social media work. As you probably already know, most western social media platforms are blocked over there. So its time for us to learn from those in their 20s. ha ha. And hopefully through their social media, we can reach out to this massive group of new audience. Its very exciting and we will continue our effort in this global promotion journey.

Hans Bacher at Tiny Island Productions

Hans Bacher is a good friend and has been very supportive to us. He has worked as a production designer in the animation film industry for the last 40 years. He lived and worked in duesseldorf, london, paris, los angeles, manila and tokyo. He has worked for Disney for many years. Some of the award winning films he worked on include Mulan, Beauty and the Beast, Lion King and many more. The artwork behind us is the original sketch he did for Dream Defenders. He has given us some very valuable input for our character design at the initial stage.

BANGKOK, 2nd July 2014 - This July, Thai audiences are in for an animation treat, as the award winning Dream Defenders animated series will finally debut on Channel 3 Family, one of Thailand's largest television network. Produced by Tiny Island Productions and distributed by Shellhut Entertainment in Thailand, this marks yet another exciting collaboration between the 2 animation companies. Shellhut Entertainment and Tiny Island Productions have previously worked together on Shelldon the TV Series, one of Thailand's most famous animated TV series which has been shown on NBC Qubo and France 5 and is now distributed by DHX Media worldwide. This time, a major campaign will be launched to distribute and publicize Dream Defenders in Thailand. Dream Defenders tells the story of Zane and Zoey, twins who defend the real world from nightmare monsters from the Dreamworlds. Aimed at kids 6-12, the 22min x 26 episode TV series features incredible gadgets, uniquely designed creatures and fantastic dreamworlds. Fully created and produced by Tiny Island Productions, one of Singapore's top animation studios, its story credits include some of L.A.'s top writers such as Eric and Julia Lewald whose credits include the hit X-Men and Gargoyles animated series. The show made its debut on the other side of the world in America where it premiered in stereoscopic 3D format on 3net, the 3D channel formed by Sony, Discovery and IMAX, becoming one of its top kids program. Since then, it has gone on to win the Asia Image Apollo Awards 2013 for Best 3D Animation. Tiny Island CEO invited to speak at Kidscreen East

Tiny Island Productions has been invited as a speaker at the coming Kidscreen East on the July 22-24, 2014 held at Qingdao, China. We will be presenting Dream Defenders (梦幻战士) at the event. 

Other speakers include executives from Dreamworks Oriental, Nickelodeon, CCTV, Hit Entertainment, Jim Henson Company, Mattel Entertainment, Discovery Network Asia-Pac, Sesame Workshop, DHX Media, PBS KIDS, Corus Entertainment etc

Last Saturday was the World IP Day. People all around the world were celebrating it. We were much honored to be one of the IP that represented Singapore! We had so much fun! Lots of thing went on. We really felt the love from our supporters. Here are some pictures from the event.

Dream Defenders: Okto's Amazing Adventure

Thank you everyone for your kind support for the event. Glad everyone had fun. And thank you for being so patient in queuing up to an hour for the game. Hope you can tell your friends more about us. 

We definitely want to look at other ways to organise more activities for our fans. We are exploring potential possibilities with Science Centre and Singapore Toys, Games and Comic Convention on other activities. Next month, we will be holding another event at Bugis Junction. In that event, we will showcase more of the "Behind the Scenes" of Dream Defenders. Hope to see you there!

We have spider-man trying to win the game!

One of the kids who played managed to win the game! He was so happy that he strike a victory pose! "Yeah, I won!" We are very glad that the kids are so happy. This really brings meaning to our work.

About 30 minutes before the whole event was scheduled to end, the event helpers had to stop the queue from growing further due to time constrains. When it was 8pm and time to wrap up the day, there were still 12 kids in queue and they have already waited for more than an hour long. So we asked the event helpers to extend the time to let the last 12 kids play the game. We just couldn't see them go home with disappointment.

Few of the lucky kids got to visit our studio. See the happy faces? We love you too!
